Az ifjú szobrász, Brindsley Miller és menyasszonya, Carol Melkett néhány drága, antik bútort kölcsönöznek engedély nélkül szomszédjuktól, hogy lenyűgözzék egyrészt Carol katonatiszt édesapját, másrészt a Brindsley munkáinak megtekintése céljából ugyanazon estére vendégségbe hívott milliomos műgyűjtőt. Ám egy váratlan áramszünet, a szomszéd idő előtti visszatérése valamint a fiú ex-szeretőjének hirtelen felbukkanása miatt az események kicsúsznak a fiatalok irányítása alól, és a helyzet egyre katasztrofálisabbá válik…

And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
