Oroszország leghíresebb színházi akadémiája a MHAT Iskolastúdió, amelynek harmadéves színészhallgatóival vitte színpadra Viktor Rizsakov, Sztanyiszlavszkij-díjas rendező Gogol örökérvényű színdarabját, a Revizort. A fiatal színészek virtuóz játéka a klasszikus mű egészen friss olvasatát jelenti, mintha csak egy mai orosz kisváros klubjában találnánk magunkat, ahol a groteszk gogoli figurák megsokszorozódnak és korunk nyelvén, illetve ritmusában szólalnak meg. Ez az intenzív, egyszerre kacagtató és megdöbbentő előadás is bizonyítja, hogy Gogol műve soha nem veszít aktualitásából.
