Barkóczi Beáta 1994-ben kezdett az indiai klasszikus táncokkal foglalkozni. Azóta hatszor járt Indiában táncot tanulni. Az odisszi tánc India klasszikus táncainak egyike, Orissza államból származik. Napjainkban az odisszi világszerte hatalmas népszerűségnek örvend. Szépen kidolgozott, finom mozdulatainak köszönhetően a legesztétikusabb művészeti formának tartják a jelenlegi művészeti ágazatok közül. Szoborszerű pózok, finom gesztusok és mimika illetve hajlékony törzsmozdulatok jellemzik ezt a stílust, amely az orisszai templomi hagyományban gyökerezik.

Lantos Zoltán – hegedűművész szólóestje
Lantos Zoltán hegedű szakon diplomázott a Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Főiskolán, majd 1985-től 8 évig klasszikus indiai zenét tanult Indiában. Hazaérve újra felfedezte zenei gyökereit, majd vegyítette a keleti zenével. A hazaiakon kívül olyan nagy nevekkel dolgozott együtt, mint Larry Coryell, Loreena McKennit, Charlie Mariano, Trilok Gurtu, Ramesh Shotham, Al Di Meola és sokan mások.

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
