Egy nagyvárosi fiatalember mindent hajlandó lenne megtenni, hogy biztonságban tudja szellemi fogyatékos húgát. Alkut kötne még az ördöggel is, hogy munkát találjon. Elfogadja egy helyi munkásvezető ajánlatát, bár nem tudhatja még, hogy ezzel milyen veszélybe sodorja húgát és önmagát. Hamarosan egy bűnesetben lesz tettestárs – és többé nem a betevő falatért, hanem az életükért kell majd küzdenie.
Közben mások is felbukkannak az éjszaka sötétjéből. Fellép transzvesztita táncosnő, múltját feledni vágyó egyedülálló asszony, egy boldogtalan újgazdag házaspár és jó pár közmunkás is. Panelrengeteg, bevásárló utca, Teleshop, popzene, Isten és trash mindenütt: a számunkra is ismerős, tébolyult valóságban idővel minden szereplő felfedi valódi arcát.
Mert kegyetlen világ ez – a fenevadaké.

Our offer
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
János Hunyadi is responsible for the tolling of bells around the world; Mátyás Hunyadi is the hero of a string of folk tales; László Hunyadi inspired “only” an opera.
This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
