Ben Hur – Egy mese Krisztus urunk korából. A monumentális amerikai nagyregény grandiózus színpadi változata, amelynek gigászi eredeti szerzője az óriási amerikai polgárháború hatalmas tábornoka, Lewis, vagy becenevén „Lew” Wallace. A Madách Színház ennek a kilencszáz oldalas műnek minden egyes jelenetét önök elé varázsolja, hogy csak néhány kiragadott példát mondjunk: egy élethű, látványos tengeri csatát, az ókori Rómát a maga teljességében, és természetesen azt a bizonyos legendás kocsiversenyt. És még mennyi mindent! A világtörténelemben először a Ben Hur mind a hétszáz történelmileg hiteles és lélektanilag árnyalt szereplőjét láthatják – négytagú társulatunk ábrázolásában!

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
