Rútnak mondják, mégsem rút. Csúfolják, vagdalják, pedig ő senkit sem bántott. Mi a baj énvelem? – kérdezi a világtól. Akik olvasták Andersen meséjét, tudják: nincs vele semmi baj, csak éppen nem az, aminek hiszik. Ő ugyanis egy hattyú… Elárultam a titkot? Sebaj, marad még épp elég az előadásban. Titok is, humor is. However, when Sir Georg Solti cast him in the role of Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, René Pape’s international career almost immediately continued on the stages of the world’s greatest houses including the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Vienna State Opera, Bayreuth, and the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
